The Sugar Ridge Hotel was established in 2009 and l is situated on a natural hill with colourful flora, which provides the perfect backdrop to an unforgettable stay. It comprises a total of 60 rooms and guests can enjoy palm-fringed beaches and views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. It is ideal for business travellers and holiday makers alike and facilities on offer to guests include a lobby with a 24-hour reception service, a currency exchange facility and a hairdressing salon. There is a bar and a restaurant and guests can also take advantage of the room and laundry services. Parking is available for those arriving by car.

Location And Resort

The hotel is located literally 2 minutes by car from the Jolly Harbour Marina and Jolly Beach with its shops and golf course, and very near the neighbouring islands of St. Kitts, Nevis and Redonda. The capital city of Saint John's is 15 minutes away by car. Thanks to its excellent location, guests will find it the perfect place from which to explore the island and some of Antigua's best beaches all within a couple of minutes' journey. Further sights of interest in the surrounding area include Fig Tree Drive (15 minutes' drive), Nelson's Dockyard (35 minutes) and Shirley Heights (40 minutes). The hotel enjoys a convenient location 25 minutes from the airport.

Swimming Pools

The hotel features 3 pools including an outdoor swimming pool. Guests can relax on sun loungers and sport enthusiasts may enjoy a work out in the gym. It is also possible to unwind with a massage treatment. Guests can enjoy a game of tennis and squash nearby the hotel, and golf enthusiasts can play a round at the Jolly Harbour Marina's 18-hole golf course.

The hotel provides restaurants with an excellent selection of dishes including a menu that has been cleverly developed by the head chef, which includes fusion dishes exploring the meeting between Caribbean cuisine and that of a variety of different continents, resulting in an explosion of flavours. There is also Caribbean cuisine on offer with a Mediterranean twist and both venues offer a good atmosphere and live entertainment.
