Description
Elounda Village is a truly stunning and luxurious resort set within its own beautiful gardens overlooking the picturesque Mirabello Bay and out to Spinalonga Island. Set in 40 acres of lush colourful gardens with its own private beach and featuring a village square complete with chapel and with all the advantages of modern living, this has to be the ideal location for those seeking a relaxing holiday. Only 7 kms from the town of Agios Nikolaos and 3 kms to the fishing village of Elounda.
Welcoming guests aged 14yrs and over, the high standards of service and wide range of activities are ideally suited to couples. Due to its location, this hotel is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Facilities
The hotels extensive facilities feature 3 outdoor sea water swimming pools overlooking the Elounda Gulf, on different levels linked by waterfalls plus 1 freshwater pool by the main building. Beach towels and showers are available, loungers and sun shades can be found by the pool (free of charge), the beach and on the well kept lawns around the beach. There is a beach bar open daily (11.00-19.00) guests can use the air-conditioned high-tech gym, play tennis (astro turf tennis court, floodlit charged), snooker, table tennis, darts, billiards, sauna (free) or be pampered in the fitness room with beauty treatments (extra). If you love to ride the waves there is the water sports centre for windsurfing, water skiing and diving centre. The various bars and restaurants on offer include the main bar, pool/snack bar, beach bar, the main restaurant serves American buffet breakfast, bio corner and full buffet dinner with active live show cooking, local and international cuisine. There are theme nights twice a week and the Mirabello a la carte restaurant transforms dinner from a meal to a dining experience with a fine selection of local and Mediterranean delights, The Greek Taverna Symposium offers original Cretan specialties. Guests are offered a welcome drink upon arrival.
