Description
Opened in 2002, this impressive holiday resort comprises a total of 1136 rooms spread over several 2 to 8-storey building of which 1022 are double rooms and 114 are suites. Various facilities are on offer to guests including a vast 76,000 m² pool and garden complex, a spacious foyer with 12 lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception desk. There is also a newspaper stand, a games room, a shopping arcade, a hairdresser's salon, a nightclub, a cinema, a bistro café, 9 bars, 2 buffet restaurants and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants. Business guests may make use of the various conference rooms and additional services include room and laundry services as well as medical assistance. Guests may take advantage of the in-house bicycle storage facility, parking facilities, kids club and playground.
Location
This modern, hotel is ideally located in the tourist centre of Maspalomas, close to the lighthouse and just 200 m from the nearest beautiful sandy beach. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity. Varaddero shopping and entertainment centre lies just a few minutes away.
Rooms
The elegant, modern rooms come with a tiled, marble en suite bathroom with a bathtub and a hairdryer, a telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio and Internet access. They also come with a minibar, a double bed, air conditioning, a safe and a balcony or terrace.
Sports
In the outdoor complex are 4 swimming pools (3 of which are heated) with separate children's pools, waterfalls and Jacuzzis, a snack bar as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Furthermore, it is possible to pay a visit to the hotel gym as well as the 3,000 m² spa and beauty complex that offers access to a Jacuzzi, saunas, a solarium and a massage service. Further leisure activities on offer include table tennis, aerobics, bocce and minigolf. On payment of an additional fee, guests may play tennis, billiards/ snooker, bowling and golf. The nearest golf course is located about 2 km from the hotel. The hotel puts on a diverse entertainment programme for young and older guests on a daily basis.
Meals
There is a fine buffet available at breakfast and in the evenings. Special dietary requirements may be accommodated, including individual-specific options. It is possible to book a half board stay. |
