The brand new Hotetur Playa Lanzarote is located 30 m from the fabulous Playa de las Cucharas in the town of Costa Teguise, on the island of Lanzarote. Set to open in November 2010, this totally renovated Adults Only property was formerly the Hotetur Tahiche Apartments and offers 237 modern and cosy rooms resting directly on the beach, and situated in low white buildings which are typical on the island of Lanzarote. The All Inclusive program with fine dining, relaxing swimming pool and nearby golf and water sports facilities will keep everyone happy and well-entertained. Arrecife Airport is 15 km from the hotel. Local Tips: Just 39 km from the hotel is Timanfaya National Park, home to the famous Montanas del Fuego, and renowned for its unique 'Martian' landscape dotted with rare species of plant. The park offers camel rides and regular demonstrations of the landscape's intense volcanic heat. Guests to this hotel must be 18 years and older.

The main buffet restaurant offers a wide variety international cuisine, and there is also a buffet snack bar in the swimming-pool area during the day, an a la carte theme restaurant (by reservation) at night, a friendly bar in the entertainment area, and an authentic English pub. Sports, games and activities: Swimming pool, sun terrace, sun beds and umbrellas, squash court, complete gym. Las Cucharas beach is literally a walk down a ramp in front of the hotel. The local area provides many opportunities for water sports especially windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, cycling and diving, and the only 18-hole golf course found on the island is close by.
