Description
The Sol Y Mar Sharming Inn is situated in an ideal location on the cliff of Ras Om el Seid in Sharm el Sheikh. The waters are renowned for their outstanding marine life and rich coral reefs, with their rare species of fish and colourful underwater scenery. The hotel is an attractive establishment, perfect for guests seeking a pleasant stay in a unique atmosphere, guests can spend the day walking among the beautiful gardens, enjoying the sun and swimming in one of the swimming pools. Attention to detail, committed staff, genuine hospitality and surroundings of great natural beauty come together to create the perfect holiday. The hotel is located within 1800 metres of its own coral beach (1500m long) and is approximately 2 kilometres from the City Centre and 25 kilometres from Sharm International Airport.
Facilities
The Hotel offers 2 swimming pools, 1 of which is heated during the winter, beach towels and sun loungers, Jacuzzi, tennis court, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, fitness room (local charge, free for all inclusive guests), snorkelling, diving, skating and quads (local charge). The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style and has live cooking stations. Pizza is available from The Fountain and drinks, cocktails, refreshments, light meals and snacks are available from one of the 3 bars. There is also a disco pub. The entertainment team performs regularly in the evenings. The mini-club opens daily with supervised childcare for children between the ages of 4 and 12. A baby-sitting service is available at an extra charge. Free shuttle bus to Naama.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner, afternoon tea with a selection of cake, local soft and alcoholic drinks between 10:00 – 24:00, ice cream (children only) 15:00 to 17:00, tennis during the day, table tennis, billiards, boccia, darts, mini club and use of the fitness centre.
Rooms
The 253 rooms including 58 villas are comfortable all feature spectacular views of either the sea, pool area, or gardens. There are standard rooms, family rooms, and the royal suite. Rooms come complete with private bathroom with shower, telephone, air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, safe deposit box at reception, and balcony or terrace and panoramic windows. Cots available free of charge (on request). |
